We Practice Radical Geography

“Radical geography is about understanding the production of space in the context of power, inequality, and struggle, and using that understanding to challenge and transform those injustices.”

- David Harvey, Author and Academic

“Mapping technology has historically been used to abstract resources from landscapes and reinforce colonial power structures. This continues today. At Teton Topo, our mission is radical geography. We use modern GIS technology to support native communities across the Pacific Northwest. Our goal is to use these connections to build more holistic systems of land management that support native reconciliation and land stewardship.

Our team represents a diverse combination of scientific, creative, and non-traditional thinkers who share a passion for decolonizing geography and have set out to provide holistic and dynamic solutions to the complex assignments proposed by both our clients and the communities we partner with.”
