Teton Topo Founder & GIS Specialist
Modern cartography practices possess a unique and powerful ability to deepen our relationship to place. Deeper understandings of our own relationships to place are critical as ever, as humanity’s collective influence on the destruction of natural systems grows more brazen. In starting Teton Topo, my mission is to leverage modern cartography and scientific analysis in partnership with native communities to empower native reconciliation and land stewardship efforts.
I received my bachelor’s degree in Political Ecology & Human Geography from Quest University, where I studied the plight and politics of Salmon ecology in coastal British Columbia. Quest University provided me with a unique academic experience that excelled in deconstructing the silos that isolate traditional academic disciplines and hinder interdisciplinary conversation and study. Because the problems our world is faced with today are too complex to be addressed through any single discipline, my interdisciplinary academic foundation has been instrumental in my journey building Teton Topo.
Through Teton Topo, I am excited to work with clients and communities to bring them the scientific and creative expertise they need to effectively empower their decision making. I’m thankful that our team represents a broad network of scientists, artists, and thinkers capable of finding inventive and diverse solutions to whatever challenges our clients face.
