GIS Analyst
I work as a GIS specialist for Teton Topo. When I am not collaborating on projects for Teton Topo, I am guiding on the Salmon River in Idaho, teaching highschool students in the backcountry, working as an EMT, exploring many different forms of media as a visual artist, or on duty as a wildfire cartographer. My passions surround a constant practice in collaboration, conservation, experiential learning, resiliency, forming strong relationships, and–overall–contributing to a healthy, harmonized future.
My undergraduate degree is in Environmental Science from Colorado College, where I primarily focused on spatial ecology and climatology. I’ve applied GIS on a wide range of projects–varying from creating a deeper understanding of climate resiliency in the alpine treelines and arid grasslands of Colorado to helping non-profits in Colorado Springs create solutions to food accessibility for low-income and minority communities in the city.
I have a strong passion for geospatial analysis due to the same reason I love guiding long backcountry trips on rivers, setting snowy skin tracks, or sharing a homemade meal: it deepens my understanding and furthers my sense of place through collaboration and the sharing of knowledge. Our team all shares this same vision.
